Why the US did not capture Osama Bin Laden earlier
67With all the coverage on the news about the death of Osama Bin Laden last month, the question that should be asked is why the United States during the George W. Bush years did not pursue Osama if in fact he was that important to them. If in fact Osama Bin Laden was behind the September 11th 2001 atrocities, then why did George W. Bush not come up with a way to capture him?
It was George W. Bush who famously said that he would get Bin Laden “dead or alive.” George W. Bush failed to capture Osama during his years in office and now during the current Obama Administration, Bin Laden was shot and killed on the raid of the big compound by members of the US Navy Seal. Obama basically finished the job that George W. Bush said he would do but he never did. This proves that the Republican Party is all talk and no action.
Actually, the person really responsible for the September 11th atrocities was Khalid Sheik Mohammed who is now in US custody. He is the man really responsible because he admitted to planning those acts of violence. If that is the case, why was there so much time spent to try and capture Bin Laden? I guess we will never know for sure who was truly responsible for the attacks. Did Khalid Sheik Mohammed make that admission because he was tortured? Or was he really telling the truth? We will probably never know. But the US government’s claim that it was Bin Laden who was responsible for September 11th should not be totally believed. The US media has a habit of really not informing its citizens what is really going on and they tend to be dishonest.
Whoever was responsible for September 11th, if Bin laden was that important to the United States, why did it take almost 10 years to kill him? This is the answer that many may not believe. It is because George W. Bush was so obsessed with going after Saddam Hussein that he forgot all about Osama Bin Laden. George W. Bush never really wanted to get Bin Laden. He just said that so the people of this country would stay silent and trust him for his word. It turns out that George W. Bush was so focused on getting rid of Saddam Hussein so that the oil companies could do business in Iraq that he forgot all about Osama Bin Laden. Bin Laden was never a priority for the United States so that’s why they didn’t go after him earlier. With all the coverage about Bin Laden’s death and the celebrations afterward, one thing remains clear. And that is that the US did not capture or kill Bin Laden like they said they would because they were too focused on getting rid of Saddam Hussein.

So many questions, unhelful answers. It seems many new where Osama was all the time! Its indeed a cynical world and cynical politics too!
