Joanna Krupa is one of the people in the entertainment industry that people should know if they have been watching TV for any period of time. This Polish beauty was also a participant in the 9th season of the reality TV show “Dancing With the Stars” with her partner Derek Hough. I admit I do like to watch that show and it was a great thing to see Joanna be a part of that show. Interestingly enough, Joanna has taken ballet lessons which she did when she was younger.

Joanna Krupa was born in Warsaw, Poland but moved with her family to the west side of Chicago when she was just five years of age. Joanna even went to a Polish school for six years. After finishing high school, Joanna enrolled in community college but she soon dropped out in order to start working. She left Chicago and moved to Los Angeles where she started her modeling career.

Joanna has appeared on the cover of many magazines. She has been voted by readers as the world’s sexiest woman. Joanna in 2003 advanced to the semifinal round of the Star Search competition. After that success, Joanna in 2004 made an appearance in the TV series Las Vegas. She followed up that appearance by starring in the movie “Max Havoc: The Curse of the Dragon.” Joanna has also starred in the movies “The Dog Problem in 2006, “Ripple Effect” and “Skinner Box” in 2007.

In 2005, an Austrian men’s magazine TV Media named Joanna Model of the Year. As of Fall 2010, Joanna is a host and judge of a TV show called Poland’s Next Top Model. Tyra banks inspired her to do something like this. Joanna belongs to the agency Elite Model Management.
