Yumi Sugimoto is a Japanese supermodel, actress and singer. Yumi began her modeling career when she was in elementary school. She was actually chosen to participate in a grand-prix semi audition for a girl’s manga magazine called Ribon.

She also has made an appearance in a Japanese anime or cartoon show called Kuchu Buranko as the character Mayumi who is a nurse.
