Haruka Ayase is a very famous Japanese gravure idol. She is one of the most searched Japanese celebrities on the Internet. She was born as Aya Tademaru on March 24, 1985 in Hiroshima, Japan. Haruka is also very physically active. In her middle school years, she was really into sports. She played basketball and she also took part in a long distance relay race also. When Haruka was a freshman in high school, she decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She auditioned for the Horipro Talent Scout Caravan in 1999 and she is now signed to that talent agency just like fellow Japanese supermodel Yoko Mitsuya. When she moved to Tokyo, Haruka started to focus on being prepared for modeling by trimming her weight a little bit.

Her popularity started to really rise because of her role as Hirose Aki in the TV drama “Crying Out Love, in the Center of the World.” It is said that there were 723 people trying out for that role and Haruka got the role. Haruka has also gotten a few leading roles in the movies. Her first one was in Cyborg Girl in 2008. Her next leading role was in Happy Fight. The next two leading roles were in Ichi and in Oppai Volleyball where she played the role of a junior high school volleyball coach. Haruka also starred in the movie “The Incite Mill” in 2010. Haruka has also taken her talents to the music side of the entertainment business. Her debut single called “Period” in 2006. This single went up to #8 on the Oricon singles chart. This was followed up by the release of two more singles called Kosaten Days and Hikoki Gumo. These did well just like that first one.
